COVID-19 UPDATES

A Message from Children’s Cardiovascular Medicine & Preventive Medicine.

Dear Families;

We understand that the recent news and uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic has most likely caused you to have many questions, concerns. In light of the guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we will continue following the practices below to ensure the safety of our patients:

  • As always, we strive to provide you and your child with personalized health care and individualized attention, so we will continue our practice of scheduling appointments in a way that limits patient-to-patient contact.
  • New limits on the number of people allowed to gather in our office:  Patients are allowed 1 person with them during their visit.
  • Access to hand sanitizer throughout the workplace.
  • We are asking that all patients and visitors present with masks during their visit and we will supply a mask to anyone in need.
  • Between patients, we will continue to thoroughly sanitize the office and any contact surfaces and equipment.

Please remember that the best way to prevent the spread is cleanliness and thorough hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Abstain from touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Avoid public places and keep six feet between you and anyone with whom you do not regularly interact.
